Professional Experience

Chris Braidwood has practiced patent law for over 15 years.  He helps the clients of Lempia Summerfield Katz LLC protect their inventions both domestically and abroad.  Chris enjoys counseling the firm’s clients in licensing and other transactions once the intellectual property (IP) rights are secured.  Chris specializes in the electrical, electromechanical, and computer software fields, with experience in semiconductor device fabrication, analog and digital circuits, MEMS and other microsystems, optical and photonic devices, engine controls, medical devices, power electronics, process control systems, wireless communications, and enterprise software.  Chris currently enjoys the wide variety of challenges presented by representing high-technology startups, university technology transfer offices and multinational corporations.
